Airline Reservations and Discounts
Special discount fares on American Airlines, Delta, United, and US Airways are available to SunGard Summit 2010 attendees for travel to San Francisco. Airline reservations should be booked thirty to sixty days in advance in order to obtain the greatest discount. Discounts will be available until seven days prior to purchase. A $30 service fee applies to each reservation made.
In order to obtain the discount, call World Travel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday, ask for the group desk, and identify yourself as a SunGard Summit attendee. From the US, Canada, and the Caribbean, please call 800-807-1037. From all other countries, please call collect, 610-578-7592.
Ground Transportation (To and From Airport)
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) lies just 14 miles south of downtown San Francisco. Approximate time to downtown ranges between 20-30 minutes depending on the time of day and mode of transportation. Door-to-Door Van Services
Nearly a dozen door-to-door van services operate from all terminals at SFO. Fares average $10-20 per person.

Airport Arrival Instructions **with reservations** when using SuperShuttle
Passengers Arriving from SFO
- Claim your luggage.
- Proceed upstairs on escalators or elevator and go outside across the street to the outer island. You can look for signs that read "Door-to-Door Shuttle".
- An airport representative in teal jackets will greet you at each designated pick up location (curb) and arrange SuperShuttle service to your destination.
- Identify yourself to the airport representative. Please give them your NAME, CONFIRMATION #, or GROUP NAME. A van will be called up from the holding lot.
Passengers Arriving from SJC or OAK
- Claim your luggage.
- Call the local dispatch 650.246.2797. Dispatch will assist you with the directions to the pick up point.
- Please give them your NAME, CONFIRMATION #, or GROUP NAME.
- A van will be called up from the holding lot.
NOTE: You do NOT need to have an advance registration to ride SuperShuttle, but without a reservation you will pay the full fare on the van. The discount is only available for pre-paid reservations and cannot be combined with any other discount.
Taxi
Taxi service is available from SFO to downtown. Approximate fare to a downtown destination is $35-44. Taxis may add a $2.00 pass-through fee to all airport fares leaving SFO. Voluntary ride sharing for two or more persons with a maximum of three destinations is permitted.

Car Rentals
Auto rental counters are located in the centralized SFO Airport Car Rental Center. Shuttle buses to the Rental Center depart from Upper Level outside curb every 5 minutes. The SFO AirTrain (an intra-airport people mover system) provides even more efficient transportation to the Rental Center.

BART
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a fast, convenient, and inexpensive way to get from SFO or OAK to meetings in San Francisco. BART to downtown San Francisco only costs $5.15 (SFO) and $5.30 (OAK) and takes just a half hour. Trains operate seven days a week from 4 a.m. to midnight weekdays, 6 a.m. to midnight Saturdays, and 8 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.
